The Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) Western India Chapter yesterday held their bi-annual elections at the Cricket Club of India in Mumbai, wherein new office bearers for the TAFI Western India Chapter were elected. Former Treasurer Jayesh Tharani, Owner, Hopco Travels Pvt. Ltd., was elected as Chairman; Former Committee Member Rajat Bagaria of Shrishti Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd., was elected as Secretary; while Darshan Mehta, MD, World Travel Services Pvt. Ltd., was elected as Treasurer.
Erach Kanga of Ahura Travels and Abbas Moiz, Partner, Shoiz International Travel Services have been elected as Committee Members. The new office bearers have been elected for tenure of two years, with effect from June 11, 2010.
The outgoing office bearers of TAFI – Western India Chapter included: Vasuki K Sundaram, Chairperson; Marie D`Mello, Secretary; Jayesh Tharani, Treasurer; along with Committee Members Kundan Ramchandani and Rajat Bagaria. |
