Jet Airways announces fourth consecutive month growth for January 2010

Registers 26 per cent increase in domestic passengers, 30 per cent surge in international passengers

Jet Airways has announced a fourth consecutive month growth for January 2010. As per the company release, Jet Airways improved on its performance in December 2009, reporting a 30 per cent surge in international  passenger traffic for January 2010 vis-à-vis the same period last year. Domestic passenger traffic in January 2010 also registered a 26 per cent increase, as compared to the same period last year. The airlines’ average seat factor for its international operations for January 2010 also stood at 84.9 per cent. JetLite, Jet Airways' all-economy subsidiary, similarly posted a 12.8 per cent growth in passenger traffic on a seat factor of 75 per cent in January 2010.
