| | In a bid to intensify the product knowledge and awareness of the destination, Jordan Tourism Board is in the process of introducing a global online education programme next year. The tourism board had earlier carried out an education programme in international source markets like US and some parts of Europe, however the educational programme was conducted on an offline model.
Speaking to TravelBiz Monitor, Nayef H. Al-Fayez, Managing Director, Jordan Tourism Board said, “We are working out details for the global online launch of our educational programme, which is likely to be ready by the end of this year and launched in global markets by early next year.” The tourism board is promoting itself in 11 international countries including India, the first destination in the Asian market where Jordan is being promoted. The 11 international countries do not include the Arab nations as they are considered regional markets by Jordan Tourism Board.
