The Karnataka tourism officials recently showcased their state to the travel agents and travel media in New York, at The Pierre Hotel, New York. The state tourism officials during their interaction with the travel trade of New York, gave detailed presentations on the state's tourist attractions including the Golden Chariot (luxury train) and Jungle Lodges and Resorts. The presentations were well received by the tourism trade and media from New York that included Isram Holidays, Classic Escapes, Exotic Tours, Travel Agent Magazine, The Washington Post and Metro News. Representatives of Air India and Jet Airways were also present at the event.
