Kerala govt launches ‘Dream Season’ campaign to attract domestic tourists from April to September 2010

According to an IANS report, the Kerala government recently announced the launch of ‘Dream Season’ campaign to attract more domestic tourists to the state from April to September this year. V Venu, Tourism Secretary, Kerala said that this is the fourth ‘Dream Season’ campaign. A wide range of value travel packages for domestic tourists will be effective from April this year. Information about the packages is available on the Kerala tourism website - http://www.keralatourism.org/dreamseason/.

“Value packages - ranging from backwater houseboat cruises to hill station holidays, Ayurvedic rejuvenation packages to monsoon honeymoon trips - will be offered by hotels, resorts and tour operators in Kerala,” added Venu. He opined that the ‘Dream Season’ holidays in Kerala will become a rewarding period for stakeholders and an enjoyable one for travellers; much better than the previous ones.
