Considering the current economic scenario, Kesari Tours recently launched low cost tours for the next year. The low cost tours focus on destinations in South East Asian like Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Tourists availing the low cost tours, which range from three to 10 days can visit any one destination (for eg: Thailand) in Rs 30,000, any two in Rs 40,000 (for e.g. Thailand and Malaysia), three in Rs 50,000 (Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore) and four in Rs 60,000 (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong). According to Himanshu Patil, Director, Kesari Tours, the tour cost is per person and includes, airfare, accommodation (three-star and three-star plus), airport taxes, visas, all meals and tour escort from Mumbai to Mumbai.
“We have already started our bookings for the low cost tours in January next year. Post March 2009, we will focus more on domestic destinations, Europe, South East Asia and New Zealand,” said Patil.
