Kingfisher Airlines launches daily direct flights between Chennai – Salem, Tamil Nadu

According to a report in asiatraveltips.com, Kingfisher Airlines has launched daily direct flights between Chennai and Salem in Tamil Nadu. The flights are being operated as Kingfisher Red service using ATR aircraft.  The flight IT 4737 will depart from Chennai at 14:50 pm and arrive in Salem at 15:50 pm. The return flight, IT 4738 will depart from Salem at 16:20 pm and reach Chennai at 17:20 pm.

Commenting on the launch of the new sector, Prakash Mirpuri, Vice President-Corporate Communications, Kingfisher Airlines Limited said, “The launch of this route marks the first time ever that any airline is operating flights between these two cities. With our onward connectivity, we expect that these flights will offer businessmen a convenient option. This new direct flight will offer travellers an easier and more convenient way to reach Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad from Salem via Chennai.”
