At a press conference held recently in Srinagar, Vijay Mallya, Chairman, Kingfisher Airlines while addressing the media said that the tourism industry in Kashmir has been suffering immensely, therefore in order to promote tourism in the state the airline is reviving back its air connectivity to Srinagar with places like Mumbai, Chennai, Pune and other metropolis. According to a report in The Daily Rising Kashmir, Mallya informed that the company aims to make travelling to Kashmir easy from potential business areas.
“Now that the fresh government has been formed, we will also like to increase the air connectivity within the state by offering more flights between Leh and Srinagar, Srinagar and Jammu, and Jammu and Srinagar,” added Mallya. |
