Kolkata-based Jet Setters, a destination management company has started inbound and outbound tour operations from New Delhi. This information was divulged at the launch function organised recently by Jet Setters at Le Meridien in the capital. Tarakeshwar Singh, Director, Jet Setters opined, “We don’t believe in recession. I do not dispute the fact that there is a global meltdown but it has not affected India as it is projected. Therefore I see a vast scope for inbound and outbound tour operation in India.” He also added that Delhi is one of the fastest developing markets outside East India. The launch function was attended by Subhash Goyal, Chairman, STIC Group; S P Singh, Regional Director, India Tourism and several distinguished personalities from Indian travel trade and the media.
The company will target niche clients (high-end clients) from India for outbound tour operations and will promote Malaysia, Italy, London and Kenya. The company is offering various packages to these destinations and has also attractive offers like half kg of silver free for certain packages. |
