will allow travel specialists like travel agents, tour operators, cruise operators, aggregators and hotels to find new customers through www.tripraja.com
Travel trade players will have to register with Tripraja.com paying a minimum of Rs 2,000. The registration will enable them to create a campaign, which will outline their product offerings and also the kind of customers they wish to target. Customer queries or leads will be passed on to the registered users in accordance with their campaign. Each lead is tagged with a minimum price, which ranges between Rs 40 to Rs 125 depending on the complexity of the lead. If there are less than five registered agent’s profiles matching the lead, the lead would go to all the registered agents. In case of more than five registered agents who can service the lead, the lead will be sold on a Dutch auction basis to the top five bidders, wherein it will be sold to all at the bid price of the fifth highest bidder. All this will be managed through a platform called ‘you do’ which can be accessed on www.tripraja.com/youdo
According to Amit Bhartiya, Business Head, Tripraja.com
, the platform will enable registered travel trade players to track the number of leads, servicing of the customer query and follow up details at any given hour. He informed that Tripraja.com has already signed up close to 80 travel specialists and is targeting around 2,500 agents on a pan-India basis by the end of the Financial Year 2009-2010. Tripraja.com will promote its offerings through the travel associations, and also through direct marketing initiatives.
