Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) has appointed Online Travel Agent (OTA), IndiaHotelReview.com (IHR) as its authorised selling agent, thus sanctioning IHR to book hotels, restaurants, Golden Chariot Train, holiday package tours and city tours from KSTDC’s website. Commenting on the deal, Ankit Rastogi, Business Head, IHR said, “We are delighted to be associated with KSTDC, as IHR becomes the first national level OTA to be awarded affiliation by KSTDC. As IHR is based in North India, this would eventually pave the way for more and more tourists from North visiting the Southern state.”
Elaborating further, Rastogi mentioned, “As IHR has always aimed to offer destinations with a distinctly local flavour, which the tourists can associate with and this is one reason why we did not find it worthwhile to go with Incredible India.
