KSTDC introduces revised commission of 20 per cent for Golden Chariot for GSA and travel trade members

Also introduces additional incentives of three to 7.5 per cent on bookings confirmed by October 31, 2009

With a view to attract travellers to experience the luxury train of Karnataka – Golden Chariot, Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) has introduced revised commission of 20 per cent for the General Sales Agents (GSA) and travel trade members. The commission of 20 per cent is valid on bookings for travel before March 31, 2010 and the revised commission is also applicable for Golden Jet Escapes packages. The commissions offered earlier by KSTDC for Golden Chariot was 15 per cent for General Sales Agents and ten per cent for the travel trade.

“This is the first time we have introduced a higher commission for the Golden Chariot and it is standard for all General Sales Agents and travel trade partners. We have also introduced additional incentives in case the bookings are done before October 31, 2009 by paying a 20 per cent advance,” informed Anand Menon, Project Director Golden Chariot, KSTDC. The incentives offered are three per cent for booking 50 pax; five per cent for booking 50-75 pax and 7.5 per cent for booking 76 pax and above.
