Kuoni Academy plans to organise International Tourism Specialist course twice a year

Kuoni Academy (KA) which kick-started a month long International Tourism Specialist course in Mumbai earlier this month along with the International School of Tourism Management (IST), Switzerland, is planning to organise the course twice a year. It plans to organise the course at the start of the year and conduct the second course during August. The ongoing International Tourism Specialist course covers subjects like marketing and sales, guest and customer relations, language learning and over all knowledge of the travel and tourism industry. Based on the feedback received, KA is also looking at adopting a holistic approach towards the course content and includes more marketing and sales strategy and finance content in the course.

Speaking to TravelBiz Monitor, Bernard Martyris, Chief - Human Resources, KA, said, “We realised that there is huge potential for a course like International Tourism Specialist not only among those who have just entered the industry but also among people who have been working in the industry for some time.
