Lakshya Bharti International Institute of Hotel Management (LBIIHM), a Delhi-based hotel management institute, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UK-based London School of Business Management (LSBM). Students undergoing graduate and post-graduate programmes in LBIIHM institutes in Delhi and Greater Noida will be eligible for an eight-month training programme in LSBM.
According to Kamal Kumar, Director-cum-CEO, LBIIHM, the students opting for eight-month training programme in London, will spend two months in the LSBM campus and remaining six months on paid internship in any star category hotel in London. “Students will be given a diploma certificate by LSBM at the end of the programme,” Kumar said. He informed that the programme is optional and will be offered from the current academic session, which starts from August 2009.
LBIIHM offers a three-year graduate programme, B Sc in Hotel Administration and Hospitality Management, recognised by Punjab Technical University and Master’s in Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Tourism, affiliated to Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE), |
