| | According to the Economic Times, upmarket and budget hotel chains like Royal Orchid, ITC, EIH, Leelaventure, DB Realty and Lemon Tree are in the running to open hotel properties in the Delhi International Airport’s (DIAL) 45 acre hospitality district. Bids for the site’s plots were invited a few months ago. GMR Infrastructure, which controls the airport, is expected to announce the successful bidders within a fortnight.
Security deposit will amount to thrice the average annual lease rental. DIAL will handle the infrastructure. GMR Infra’s advisor for the hospitality properties is Jones Lang LaSalle Meghraj (JLLM). 1.6 acre plots are available for budget hotels, while the size can increase to 7.7 acres for a business hotel. | | Read complete story >> (You need to login first to read complete story).
