Malaysia Airlines (MAS) will roll out its new Indian menu from today in all classes on flights between Malaysia and India. According to a PTI report the Indian menu has been conceptualised by LSG Skychefs, the main caterer of the airline in collaboration with Chef Satish Arora and Kannan from TajSATS. The menu includes Chettinad chicken, Kerala vegetarian curry, Kodaikaanal mutton, Chettinad cauliflower/mushroom curry, Gongra lamb and vegetable rice briyani, depending on the actual meal cycles applicable on each flight. The move is part of the efforts by the airline to deliver outstanding in-flight food and beverage offerings in order to position itself as a `Five-Star Value Carrier.’ Hayati Ali, General Manager, In-flight Services, said, “The airline will use the most creative and exceptional in-flight meal standards, as well as quality set along the `halal’ benchmark.” |
