Malaysian High Commission ties up with VFS Global to service Visa applications

In a recent development, the Malaysian High Commission has tied up with VFS Global to service Visa applications in Mumbai and Hyderabad. VFS Global Visa application centres in Mumbai and Hyderabad are part of a pilot project, post which the High Commission will look at increasing the number of Visa application centres.

Speaking with TravelBiz Monitor, Dato' Tan Seng Sung, High Commissioner, Malaysian High Commission said, “India is an important country for Malaysia and this is an initiative to provide a higher level of service to Indian travellers. Individual Visa applicants, corporate houses, institutions and the travel trade community will derive benefits from this service.”

With VFS Global undertaking the Visa collection process, the Malaysian High Commission is looking at a faster turn around time for issuing Visas to applicants. At the moment, the High Commission takes three working days to process the Visa, while VFS Global will aim at delivering Visas in a shorter duration of time.
