| | The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) has become the first to implement Performance Management in Government as per the recommendations of the Administrative Reforms Commission. MoT, in partnership with the Cabinet Secretariat had organised a workshop on Performance Management in April 2009, based on the deliberations of which, Performance Agreements of all officers up to Joint Secretary level have been finalised based on the priorities and objectives of the Ministry keeping in mind the 100 days agenda of the government. This Performance Agreement was formally signed between Sujit Banerjee, Secretary (Tourism) and the concerned officers day before yesterday. By signing these agreements each officer of the Ministry has been given outcome oriented tasks and objectives to be fulfilled within the stipulated time period based on which the assessment would be made at the end of the financial year and would be reflected in their Annual Performance Appraisal.
