Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) along with Pune-based Offbeat Destinations has launched a special tour titled 'Asa Ha Maharashtra' to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Maharashtra. The special tour will be organised in two parts in November this year starting from Pune. The first part of this special tour will be a 12 nights, 13 days itinerary starting November 11 - 23, 2010 covering destinations like Raigad, Chikhalgaon, Ganpatiphule, Aravali, Kolhapur, Satara, Ahmednagar and Aurangabad. The second part of the tour will be 11 nights, 12 days itinerary starting November 23 – December 4, 2010 covering destinations like Jalgoan, Chikaldhara, Nagpur, Anandvan, Sevagram, Nanded, Latur, and Solapur.
Speaking with TravelBiz Monitor, Vijay Chavan, General Manager, MTDC said, “Asa Ha Maharashtra will allow travellers to explore different facets of Maharashtra. The itinerary covers off beat destinations offering heritage, industrial, agricultural, religious experiences in Maharashtra destination.” |
