Mumbai-based Ecomantra, Nature Adventures Pvt. Ltd., a Sustainable Tourism venture specialising in promoting eco-friendly activity-oriented eco holidays and experiential learning is in the expansion mode. The company, set up in 2001 and focusing only on domestic market, is going to open an outbound division this month, as well as will foray in the B2B space by launching a portal, ecomantra.net. The CRM system is in place for the portal, which will commence operations from May 1, 2010. The company is currently redeveloping its website to assimilate its outbound offerings, adding a payment gateway and also setting up a call centre for the outbound division.
The outbound division will cover destinations in Eastern Europe (Romania, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic), Western Europe (UK, Germany, Spain, France, Italy), Latin America (Belize, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, San Salvador, Panama, Gautemala), Asia-Pacific (Australia, New Zealand, Papua), Far East (Vietnam and Borneo in Malaysia), Asia (Mongolia and Sri Lanka) and Antarctica. |
