New Delhi-based Chrysalid Outdoor Learning Centres to set up two camps by February 2011

Also tapping family holiday segment, plans to launch new packages during CWG 2010 for the same

New Delhi-based Chrysalid Outdoor Learning Centres (COLC) which operates camps and conducts outdoor training activities for corporates and students plans to add two more camp sites into its portfolio. The company presently operates its camp under the brand name Camp Chrysalid at Junga in Himachal Pradesh which attracts both domestic and international corporates and schools from North India. The two new camp sites are currently being identified near Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh and Pauri in Uttarakhand and are expected to be operational by February 2010. The investment to develop each campsite is about Rs one crore.

The facilities provided at the camps include tented accommodation, multipurpose halls used for small meeting and conferencing purposes, library, medical rooms and open dining area offering local and continental cuisine. The campsites also offer Adventure Tourism facilities like rock climbing, rappelling, valley crossing, rifle shooting, rope course activities, bridge jumaring and slithering, tree jumaring and slithering and trekking.
