Blue Square Consultants (BSC), a Mumbai-based representation company, has been awarded the mandate to represent Oman Tourism in the Indian market. The mandate for Oman Tourism is to develop and promote the destination in the Indian market with emphasis on B2B and B2C segments. Presently, the traffic between India and Oman comprises of Visiting Friends and Relatives (VFR) and those travelling for employment. The aim is to develop tourism between the two countries.
According to Salim Bin Adey Al-Mamari, Director General of Tourism Promotion, Sultanate of Oman, “We are delighted to announce the appointment of BSC as our representative in the Indian market and we believe that they have the credentials to promote the unique products that Oman has to offer the discerning Indian clientele.”
Lubaina Sheerazi, Head - Business Development, BSC said, “It is a proud moment for us to be representing Oman in India. The country has a lot to offer in terms of culture, scenic beauty and products targeted at the niche, evolved traveller.” Oman is well connected by air with its national carrier Oman Air operating to ten points in India. |
