Organisations working in the field of Agriculture and Rural Tourism in Pune will now have to get an accreditation from the Maharashtra State Agriculture and Rural Tourism Cooperative Federation (MART). With an aim to make Agriculture and Rural Tourism a more coordinated effort, the Federation has been set up by the various organisations working in the field. The first general body meeting of MART was held recently in Pune.
An executive body was selected during the meeting, in which Sunetra Ajit Pawar has been selected as President of the Federation. Pandurang Taware was selected as Executive President. Representatives of various organisations working for the development of Agriculture Tourism in different parts of the state, including Ranagiri, Satara, Solapur, Kolhapur, Jalgaon, Aurangabad and other cities were present during the meeting.
