Palms Hotel Mumbai and Mercury Himalayan Explorations (MHE), a Delhi-based adventure tour company have set up an adventure park at Royal Palms Estate, the location of the hotel in Goregaon East (North Western Suburb of Mumbai). The adventure park witnessed a soft launch on the tenth of this month. The name of the park, which will be formally announced in the next two to three weeks, is still under consideration. Currently, the park offers adventure sport activities like zip-line, zorbing, rock climbing, rappling and mountain biking and in less than a month activities like hot-air ballooning, paintball and bungee jumping will be available. MHE, which is operating and managing the adventure park, will also create a separate corporate training area to conduct team building and other adventure activities.
For Palms Hotel Mumbai, the adventure park will act as an ancillary revenue model and expand its current product offerings of hotel accommodation and conferencing facilities to adventure activities. This will help attract consumers who are interested in leisure activities as well as capitalise on corporate traffic. |
