Park Hotels, part of Apeejay Surrendra Group, has inaugurated its luxury lake cruiser in Vembanad Lake (Kerala), marking its formal foray into the leisure segment. This is the first time that the Group has ventured beyond the business hotels segment. The new eight-cabin luxury cruiser, ‘Apsara’ has a ‘docking station’ that will feature 10 luxury rooms, a deluxe suite, a tented spa offering ayurvedic and international treatments, a gym, a restaurant and bar, a pool, pool deck and bar and performance space.
According to a report in PTI, Priya Paul, Chairperson, The Park Hotels said, “We are excited about our latest venture in Kerala which marks our entry into the leisure segment.” The Park Hotels currently operates six five-star boutique hotels in Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, New Delhi, Mumbai and Visakhapatnam. The Group had earlier said it will open a 270 room hotel in Hyderabad this year and also plans to build properties in Jaipur, Pune and Kolkata. |
