Pau Pyrenees Tourism enters Indian market by appointing OM Tourism as representative

Following the trend of regional tourism offices establishing their presence in the Indian market, Pau Pyrenees Tourism from South West of France has entered the Indian market by appointing New-Delhi based OM Tourism as their representative office. To announce the appointment of its Indian representation, CCI Pau Bearn delegates held an event in Mumbai yesterday and will be organising the same in New Delhi on May 28, 2010, along with other tourism partners like Pau Pyrenees Airport, Lourdes Tourism Office, Pau Tourism Office and Congress Centre.

Speaking with TravelBiz Monitor, Didier Brisset, Member, Pau CCI Board said, “We are pleased to announce the appointment of OM Tourism as the official India representative office for Pau Pyrenees Tourism. Located in the South West of France, the region has a rich cultural and historical background and also has on offer a wide diversity of activities and can easily be accessed from Paris by air, rail or road.”

To promote Pau as a tourist destination, the tourism board is looking at offering the diversity of the region to its target audience- FIT, group travellers and MICE.
