Pearl Travels launches Franchise India Programme for travel trade

Pune-based B2B online travel consolidator, www.pearltravels.com, has launched Franchise India Programme for travel agents and tour operators. The programme will facilitate inbound and outbound business for domestic/ local travel agents and operators. Pearl Travels will offer the franchise by state and each franchisee will be entitled to an exclusive territory. The company will also launch dynamic travel packages shortly.

According to Jayesh Ashar, Executive Director, Pearl Travels, “With revenue from sale of airline tickets falling, travel agents and tour operators are exploring new options to generate revenue. The franchise programme intends to create a network for smaller players whilst maintaining a pan-India presence for them in the market. We have the technological support to set up a virtual office for the franchisee; effectively the franchisee can start the business with minimum overheads.” Under the Franchise India Programme, the franchisee will act as the exclusive sales office of Pearl Travels in the designated area.
