Pentascribe Holidays to distribute products of tour operators

Pentascribe Holidays Pvt. Ltd., a new Mumbai-based travel company is entering the travel arena with the business model of distributing products of tour operators among potential travellers in India. The company will source packages (outbound and domestic) and for corporate sector along with travel cards and other travel-related products from multiple tour operators. The company is currently in the process of contracting with the five national tour operators and plans are also afoot to tie-up with three regional tour operators in each state. However, the names of the tour operators were not disclosed.
The distribution model of the company will focus largely on the corporate sector with only 30 per cent of sale through retail stores. Within the corporate sector the main target clientele will be the IT, finance sector and manufacturing industries.  

“The ratio between retail and corporate segments will be 30:70 and the retail strategy will be implemented in the near future.
