As per the company release, Platinum Travel Corporation was founded by Carl Buerckner a key player in the Australian travel and tourism industry who has held many senior roles throughout the travel sector. The company was formed in September 2009 in response to marketplace demand for a business that could meet both skilled organisation of business travel and event solutions management at the same time.
