| | Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh will address a meeting of heads of all foreign missions in Delhi for three days starting today, to promote India as a safe and popular destination. According to a PTI report, this information was provided by Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and External Affairs Anand Sharma at a press meet in Panaji, Goa. The adverse travel advisories post-Mumbai terror attack prompted the Union government to hold this three-day meeting with heads of all foreign missions.
“The meeting will help create an atmosphere that India is safe and a popular destination. The Union government has already initiated dialogue with Indian Missions abroad and their missions in India promoting it as a safe destination,” said Sharma.
