Over the next few years, Raheja Developers will set up three five-star hotels in the National Capital Region (NCR) with an average 300 room inventory each. According to Navin M Raheja, Managing Director, Raheja Developers, the company will commence the work once necessary clearances are obtained. However, he declined to reveal the upcoming projects’ exact location.
Apart from these three hospitality projects, which are awaiting clearance, work on two other hospitality projects is currently underway in the NCR. Raheja explained that these properties will be budget hotels in the three to four-star category. “They are in different construction stages and will be ready before the Commonwealth Games 2010,” he added. Raheja informed that the two properties together will contribute about 250 rooms to the NCR’s inventory. With regards property branding, Raheja claims that the hotels have already finalised tie-ups with India’s leading hospitality brand. “We will announce it jointly soon,” he said.
“We do not want to over expose at this juncture. We are focused on the five commercial projects in the hospitality sector as of now,” |
