Amadeus and Rail Europe 4A, one of the leading distributor of European Rail worldwide, have partnered to increase the reach of Rail Europe’s European railway products and offer Amadeus travel agencies in India unparalleled Pan-European rail content. Rail Europe Smart Tab on Amadeus has been formally launched and is available to all Amadeus clients across India, after having been successfully piloted in selected travel agencies in India.
As per the company release, Amadeus will connect to Rail Europe’s content through the company’s travel agency point of sale front and back office system, the Amadeus Selling Platform. Travel agents will be able to book European rail segments with ease, to complement other travel details such as airline, car or hotel, and therefore provide a full itinerary for the traveller.
The addition of Rail Europe’s extensive rail content – high speed trains, scenic trains, night trains, rail passes (including Eurail) – increases the travel agent’s opportunity to generate additional revenue. |
