Mumbai-based Raj Travels is planning to add 50 franchise agents in the next two years. The company recently appointed eight franchise agents across Mumbai and is looking at targeting other cities in the coming months. The company is currently conducting a feasibility study of different cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Surat, Baroda where it plans to appoint franchise agents. Currently, the company has about 50-55 franchise agents on pan-India basis. The company will expand the network of franchise agents in a phased manner and provide training among the agents about the products and services of Raj Travels.
Speaking to TravelBiz Monitor, Akash Sheth, CEO, Raj Travels said, “We have witnessed that approximately 96 per cent sales is conducted through our direct offices and our network of franchise agents. Hence, expanding our franchise network over the next two years will offer greater business and results. The company will continue to promote the existing products in the market.” |
