Malaysia-based Red Apple Travel Group of Companies, a destination management company, which works closely with the Indian travel trade, is looking at introducing coach tours for Far East destinations like Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore for the upcoming winter season. The company will introduce the coach tour package in the Indian market in another one month's time and will start operations of the same from October 1, 2009.
Speaking with TravelBiz Monitor, Suneet Goenka, Managing Director, Red Apple Travel Group said “The coach tours will comprise only of land travel within these three destinations and we are introducing this with an objective that the travellers can experience more of the destinations and they are more economical as well. The coach tours are priced slightly higher than regular tours, however the overall value for money it offers is cheaper than any other package.” The Far East market has huge potential for coach tours and the company in the near future is also looking at introducing coach tours for Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos.
