Dehradun-based Savaari Car Rentals India, which currently operates in 53 Indian cities, is now planning to expand its operations to 75 cities in India by end of 2011. The company operating in major mini metro cities in India, is aiming to expand its services to cities like Ajmer (Rajasthan), Haridwar (Uttarakhand), Jammu, Srinagar, Leh (Jammu & Kashmir), Guwahati (Assam), Imphal (Manipur), Shillong (Meghalaya), Gangtok (Sikkim) and Agartala (Tripura). The company is looking at expanding its operations with an initial investment of Rs two crore. It is currently working with travel agents, tour operators, online travel agents and corporate companies to sell its inventory. It has special affiliate programmes for corporate clients and travel operators. With business prospects growing, it is targeting to work closely with hospitality sector and is soon going to introduce special programmes for hoteliers as well.
