With the Indian Railways’ plans to provide broadband connectivity to all major long distance trains, Techno Sat Comm, a Mumbai based solution provider, has recently demonstrated its customised broadband solution service based on Wifi technology aboard the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express. This is the company’s first demonstration on Indian trains.
Techno Sat Comm has been approved to demonstrate its solution “Business on Wheels” in one of the major trains, Shatabdi Express after receiving basic clearances from the Indian Railways. Speaking exclusively to TravelBiz Monitor on the same, Niravkumar Dave, Managing Director, Techno Sat Comm, states, “We have been conducting research for the past four years to provide these services in Indian trains. Individuals and entrepreneurs spend a lot of time travelling, which may go in vain, as they may not be able to stay connected and complete work.
