Bird Travels, part of Bird Group, one of the largest travel marketing and distribution company in India, has tied up with Silversea Cruises to promote the cruise in India. With this partnership, Bird Travels will act as the Preferred Sales Agent (PSA) for Silversea Cruises in India. This is the company’s first partnership with Silversea Cruises, even though it has many years of experience in selling high-end luxury products such as hotels, destinations and BMW cars etc.
Speaking about the partnership, Enrico Origone, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Silversea Cruises said, “We have found the right partner in India. With this partnership, we will take our business forward in India, especially to tap the potential of high-end luxury market. In India, we will be promoting packages to Mediterranean, Far East and Europe as these are the most selling cruise packages in India.” Origone added that Silversea Cruises, which has a fleet of ships offering world class facilities such as Silver Cloud, Silver Wind, Silver Shadow, Silver Whisper, now plans to launch a new ship titled ‘Silver Spirit’ next month. |
