Singapore Airlines and Turkish Airlines sign code-share agreement

Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Turkish Airline have entered into a code-share agreement which will give SIA’s customers travelling between Singapore and Istanbul a choice of ten flights a week. The agreement will be effective from the 15th of this month. From Istanbul and Dubai, customers will be able to enjoy the convenience of Singapore Airlines’ wide network of connections to Singapore, and other popular destinations in the Asia Pacific. SIA’s covers 67 destinations in 35 countries. Customers from Singapore will also be able to connect on Turkish Airlines’ network to any of their 111 international destinations including routes to Turkey, Central Asia and the Middle East.

The signing ceremony held at Fairmont Hotel in Singapore today, signified the forging of a closer relationship between the airlines, both members of Star Alliance. “We are delighted to conclude a code-share arrangement with Turkish Airlines. This is a testament to the growing relationship between Singapore Airlines and Turkish Airlines, our Star Alliance partner and our efforts to maximise the opportunities offered by our combined network.
