Singapore-based Holiday Designers Pte Ltd., an inbound tour operator mostly catering to FIT, Groups and MICE segments is keen on expanding its branch offices in India in next two years. The company is looking at opening a branch office in Bengaluru and Chennai in next two years to further increase the Indian tourist inflow to Singapore. Currently operating a branch office in New Delhi, the company receives good number of Indian tourists every year. To further boost the tourist figures to Singapore, it is focusing on Tier I and Tier II cities of India like Ahmedabad, Pune, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi and the state of Goa.
Rajiv Aneja, Managing Director, Holiday Designers Pte Ltd. said, “India is one of the biggest tourist markets for Singapore. Due to the current market conditions, we are not opening any branch offices at the moment, but in next two years we will definitely look at introducing branch offices in Bengaluru and Chennai. Till that time, we are going to work closely with our travel partners in India to grow our business margins through increasing tourist arrivals from India.” |
