| | Singapore plays an important role in the Asia Pacific aviation market- it has one of the busiest airports in the region, is one of the region’s key MRO hubs, as well as has one of Asia’s leading network carriers in Singapore Airlines. It represents a key market for the region’s three largest (and rapidly expanding) LCCs – Tiger Airways Group, AirAsia Group and Qantas Group’s Jetstar brand. PART II: AIRLINES Singapore Airlines is the largest carrier operating to/from Singapore, with a 37.1 per cent capacity share, having grown from a regional airline into one of the world's leading carriers.
