SOTC ties up with PayMate to provide mobile payment service

Mobile payments company, PayMate has tied up with SOTC, to provide them with the Inbound IVR service designed by PayMate. PayMate’s inbound interactive voice response (IVR) technology is a secure payment solution that makes it possible for customers to transact with the greatest ease. This service enables customers to book and pay over the phone. Payments can be made through a credit card while on the phone. Since there is no human intervention involved in the entire transaction process, the credit card information is secure.
 
With this service, when a customer calls SOTC to book a holiday, the customer service representative will connect the  call to the IVR payment system and the customers can then enter their credit card details and OTP (bank provided One Time Password) over the secure IVR call to process the payment, according to a media release.
 
PayMate, is a mobile payment platform which links a mobile phone to an existing bank account, credit card or a prepaid account - turning the phone into a secure payment tool.
