| | South African Tourism (SAT) plans to hold an in-country road show in India in August this year and is planning to invite around 100 agents from India and South Africa. This was informed by Medha Sampat, Country Head India, South African Tourism, who said that the idea behind holding an in-country road show is to spread awareness about South African and Indian tourism’s products mutually among agents of both countries. The in-country road show will be held in a five-star hotel; however, the exact venue and date are not yet decided.
SAT, last week, concluded its three-city road show in New Delhi. The other two cities were Mumbai and Ahmedabad. A delegation of 25 companies showcased their products to the travel trade in these three cities. The delegation companies comprised various travel and tour operators, game parks, hoteliers etc. from South Africa. “The response has been amazing and the delegates have been busy highlighting the products to the travel trade.
