Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc launches Starwood Personalized Travel

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc has launched Starwood Personalized Travel  (SPT) – a programme designed to serve the preferences of Chinese travellers. In the first phase of the programme launch, 19 Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc hotels in gateway cities such Mexico City, New York and Paris now feature SPT. The company has plans to roll out the programme across all their hotels by the end of 2012. SPT includes in-room tea kettles, slippers, translated welcome materials and on-site translation services. In addition, restaurant menus will also be made available in Chinese and feature items such as congee – a popular Chinese breakfast delicacy, according to the company release.
