TAAI proposes ‘Visa-on-Arrival’ facility at Dubai airports for Indian tourists to DTCM

At its ongoing 58th annual convention in Dubai Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) has put forward a proposal for ‘Visa-on-Arrival’ facility for Indian tourists to the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM). The Association has committed to boost the annual tourist traffic to the UAE by 20 per cent, provided Indian holidaymakers get ‘Visa-on-Arrival’ at Emirates’ airports. Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the convention yesterday Rajinder Rai, President, TAAI said that he has put forward the proposal to the DTCM officials. Currently, Indian tourists enjoy ‘Visa-on-Arrival’ facility in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Kenya and Nepal.
