TAAI to present White Paper to GoI and GoM post ITTE 2010

In order to highlight challenges faced by the travel and tourism industry to the government, Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) has decided to present a White Paper to the Government of India (GoI) and Government of Maharashtra (GoM) post India Travel Trade Expo (ITTE), to be held on August 7-8, 2010 at World Trade Centre, Mumbai. The White Paper will be prepared with inputs received from the business sessions to be held on the sidelines of the expo.

The expo will have a CEO’s Conclave on the first day, followed by business sessions focussing on inbound and outbound tourism. These sessions will discuss challenges faced by the industry, potential growth segments, assessment of the current marketing strategies and the ones to be adopted, as well as brand building initiatives the industry requires. The recommendations made by participants and delegates will be noted and incorporated in the White Paper.
