Taj Hotels and CC Africa plan to expand to North East and South India

Taj Hotels and CC Africa plan to build safari lodges in North East and South India. Currently, the JV between the two companies has safari lodges only in Madhya Pradesh. The company has not disclosed further details, but has revealed that it may officially announce the same by October 2009 and the expansion will be complete within two years. The company will offer nine to 14 room lodges similar to the Madhya Pradesh ones. Under the joint brand, there are four lodges: Mahua Kothi at Bandhavgarh National Park; Baghvan at Pench National Park; Banjaar Tola at Kanha National Park and Pashan Garh at Panna National Park.
