TAT to focus on ‘minimising ecological impact’

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) celebrated its 50th Anniversary by organising a Golden Jubilee Mega Media FAM Trip for travel journalists from across the globe. TAT organised a detailed product seminar at Hotel Rama Gardens in Bangkok followed by a golden jubilee gala reception at Ladawan Palace in the evening on March 23, 2010 as the culmination of the Mega Media FAM Trip.

The gala reception featured cultural shows and participation of Thai Government dignitaries, delegates from TAT’s global offices. The Indian media delegation comprised of ten travel journalists who were accompanied by Sonalee Vaz, Managing Director, Charson Advisory (TAT Mumbai Representative), Sethaphan Buddhani, Director, TAT Mumbai and Chattan Kunjara Na Ayudhya, Director, TAT India. As part of the Mega Media Mega FAM Trip, Indian delegates visited Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi, Rose Garden and Siam Niramit cultural show in Bangkok. The Mega FAM Trip witnessed participation of over 400 media and travel trade delegates associated with TAT.
