| | Thomas Cook India Ltd (TCIL) is planning to introduce packages for festival breaks during the festive season (third quarter of the calendar year) this year. The packages to be introduced under the Festival Breaks are currently at a nascent stage of development and conceptualisation. Divulging the plans to introduce festival breaks this year, Nalini Gupta, President and Head – Marketing, TCIL, said, “Each quarter of the year has a different opportunity for travel companies to offer various packages. Thomas Cook is working on introducing Festival Breaks from the period beginning August to October this year.” The company is looking at promoting packages in the line of 'My India, My Way' which caters to packages for domestic destinations and also outbound packages to short haul (four to five hours flight) destinations.
The company may look at promoting the packages for Festival Breaks through the road show concept that it initiated last year.
