| | The third annual convention of the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) commenced yesterday at the The Ashok Hotel in New Delhi with a call to promote domestic tourism for sustainable development of tourism in the country. The two-day Convention was inaugurated by Nawang Rigzen Jora, Tourism Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, while the exhibition on the sidelines of the Convention was inaugurated by Sujit Banerjee, Secretary – Tourism, Government of India.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Jora stated that the recent elections to the state assembly had revived people’s faith in peace and democracy in the state. “Bad times are behind us. The state is ready to invite tourists like never before.
