Tiger Balloon Safari to promote Lifestyle Tourism in India through hot-air ballooning

To open hot-air ballooning school near Delhi by early next year

New Delhi-based Tiger Balloon Safari received an approval from the Directorate General of India (DGCA) in February this year to operate hot-air balloon safaris in India. It is scheduled to start full-fledged operations from October this year from Madhya Pradesh's Pench Jungle Camp. It is also going to offer services from Kanha, Bandhavgarh and Khajurao national parks. For expanding in other states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Goa, the company has already applied for a license to DGCA and is expecting to receive the approval soon.

Talking about the purpose of starting hot-air ballooning in India, Vir Rawlley, Director, Tiger Balloon Safari said, “We are not going to promote hot-air ballooning under the adventure segment, instead we are introducing the concept of Lifestyle Tourism through this. Hot-air ballooning is no more an adventure, but it is a lifestyle in itself. In Lifestyle Tourism, the risk factor is zero per cent and thrill factor is 100 per cent, and hot-air ballooning is all about that.” The company will offer packages like incentive and HR, filming, advertisements and brand promotion packages.
